Blog Post 4:The Media(FAKE NEWS!)

     Pictured above is a chart illustrating the trends of where voters in 2016 got their main source of information about the campaigns. Fox news was overall the most viewed by voters with CNN coming in second. These results make sense as Fox and CNN are some of the biggest news organizations in America right now. As for which news source was being watched by each side, the results are slightly different. Fox remains as the #1 source for many Republicans at 40% using this as there main news sources. While on the Democratic side CNN was #1 by a much smaller margin of 18%. There were many trends present in this set of data. I noticed the vareity of sources the Democrats reported using compared to the Republicans with many not showing up on both sides. These include MSNBC, NPR, and New York Times. One reason for this is that in this political climate, there are more liberal leaning major news organizations, while  on the republican  side many of the right-leaning news sources are much smaller.
